Mentor Roadmap

Planned developments for Mentor are:
updated manual and improved help, FAQ and tutorial
new task features - repeating tasks and task dependencies
further development of Agenda synch
review features to analyse your tasks

The End Of The Line For EPOC?

Many people seem to have abandoned the development of EPOC products after Psion's announcement that it would not be developing any more handheld computers. Although I now own a Palm, I continue to use my Revo+ as my personal organiser, as it remains the best compromise for the way that I work. If your Psion machine works for you, I'd recommend that you do the same!

Having said that, there are a large and ever growing number of different organisers out there nowadays, and in order to continue development (and sales!) of our products, we need to branch out into other areas. As the Revo+ is my own machine of choice, rest assured that our future applications will run under EPOC for some time. However, to get any number of sales, we need to make sure that other environments are also supported.
Our roadmap, shown on the right, seeks to meet these requirements.

WuLiSoft Roadmap

There are three areas that we are progressing:
ongoing development of the current Mentor product on EPOC
development of a Palm application (to gain familiarity with PalmOS)
creation of a new software development environment, used to create a new version of Mentor which will be more extensible, perform better, and port easily to other platforms - including EPOC and PalmOS as a minimum

New Products

Whenever we have an idea for a new product, we note it down rather than being diverted from our current commitments.
Our list of product ideas is now substantial, which is another reason for creating the software development environment mentioned. Like Mentor, many of these ideas take a very innovative approach!
We hope to have the first of our new products coming out in 2002.
